At that time the railway society was located at the Harold Wilson Industrial Estate in Caerphilly, Cardiff, South Wales, UK with the aim of restoring and maintaining vintage steam locomotives.

British Airways Concorde lands at Heathrow Airport, London 1978
Registration number G-BOAC, flagship aircraft of the the British Airways fleet.
Photo shows tarmac next to runway, in the foreground is a stationary Libyan Arab Airways aircraft with various service vehicles. Concorde landing on runway in background.
After being de-commissioned in early 2000’s this Conorde aircraft was moved to a Manchester storage hangar.

Situated in the Moorgate area of the old City of London, near Gresham and Basinghall streets.
An extension to the original Guild Hall building which still stands, used for ceremonial and administrative purposes for the City of London and it’s Corporation.
