Many photographs were taken on the streets of Cardiff as a teenager in the early to mid 1970’s most of which have been lost (thanks Pickfords!), never made it to Australia and exist now as memories.

Cardiff at that time was the Cardiff of the Arms Park, Hayes Island snack bar, Cardiff Central Market and that sarsaparilla bar tucked away down one of those arcades full of cigarette smoke, yellowing walls adorned with old photos of racing pigeons and race horses.
